Aditi is a qualified lawyer and registered patent attorney with 18 years of experience across international arbitration, shareholder and joint-venture disputes, mergers and acquisitions, contract negotiation, and corporate structuring.

Aditi is regularly instructed as consulting counsel by multinational law firms, joining their litigation and dispute-resolution teams to shape the theory of the case, test the evidence, and settle overall strategy. She is also appointed to joint counsel teams assembled for complex, multi-party disputes.

Independently, her work spans arbitrations under DIAC, ADCCAC, ICC, and LCIA rules, alongside advising on proceedings before the UAE Courts. She is routinely appointed by companies to conduct arbitrations and to advise on challenges to awards before domestic courts.

Her approach to a dispute begins well before the tribunal. Jurisdiction, seat, and the strength of the documentary record are assessed at the outset, and a detailed risk analysis is carried out before any claim is filed because the decision not to litigate is often the more valuable one. Where proceedings are necessary, they are prosecuted to the end.

Negotiation is central to Aditi's practice. She has resolved shareholder exits, deadlocked settlements, and contractual disputes that had stalled for years bringing parties back to the table after other advisers had closed the file.

She acts in structured settlement discussions, negotiates directly with counterparties, contractors, suppliers, banks, and local sponsors, and structures terms that give each side a viable route to agreement. She oversees settlements through to final payment.

Aditi drafts and negotiates the full commercial suite: shareholders' and joint venture agreements, share purchase and subscription agreements, asset sale, purchase and lease arrangements, business transfer agreements, distributorship, service and rate contracts, licensing and intellectual property agreements, NDAs, and terms of engagement. She advises on FIDIC and bespoke construction forms, and on dispute-resolution clause architecture, so a client's position is protected before a dispute ever arises.

On structuring, she advises on the choice of vehicle and jurisdiction across UAE free zone and onshore regimes, on group architecture that concentrates profit appropriately and ring-fences liability, and on governance instruments that reduce the risk of future dispute. Transactions are managed through to completion rather than to signature: due diligence, conditions precedent, warranties and indemnities, completion mechanics, and the mapping of contract terms through to invoicing and payment.

Aditi began her career in litigation in Mumbai, appearing before the High Court of Bombay, the Securities Appellate Tribunal, and the Intellectual Property Appellate Board across eight years, before moving to the UAE in 2017. Six of those early years were spent solely in patent practice, analysing pharmaceutical, mechanical, and engineering inventions a technical grounding that carries directly into her construction and energy disputes work today.

Through board and executive positions across energy and oil and gas entities, as well as consultancies, Aditi has developed close insight into management and operations giving her advisory work a strong commercial dimension alongside the legal analysis.
